In 2004 The Frogs had it's Broadway premiere with a rewritten book by Nathan Lane featuring a host of new songs by Stephen Sondheim. The Frogs opened at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theatre on July 22,2004 after a month of previews,the first begining on June 22, 2004. The Broadway production of The Frogs was a limited engagement. The Frogs closed on October 10, 2004 after 92 adorable performances.
